Peach Finish Changes the Surface
A peach finish lightly raises the fabric surface to create a soft, suede-like touch. It can make yoga sets feel warm and premium, but the brushing level affects color, friction and durability.
Approve the exact finished lot because greige composition and GSM do not define the final handfeel. Keep a physical swatch as the surface standard.
Balance Softness and Movement
A very soft surface may create more friction against skin or other layers, which can influence how leggings pull on and how tops move. Test dressing, floor work and repeated stretching.
Measure recovery after finishing and washing. Brushing should not hide weak elastane performance or excessive growth.
Evaluate Pilling and Abrasion
Raised fibers are exposed to friction at thighs, seat, underarms and equipment-contact areas. Run pilling and abrasion checks that reflect the intended wear.
Compare new and washed samples under consistent light. Surface flattening or fuzz can change the apparent shade even when dye loss is limited.
Control Color and Shade Direction
Brushed surfaces can show nap direction and pressure marks. Panels cut in inconsistent directions may appear to be different colors after assembly.
Define marker direction and inspect garments from multiple angles. Deep colors, pastels and heathers should each be approved on the finished fabric.
Set Realistic Care and Claims
Check moisture handling, drying, shrinkage, spirality and colorfastness after the intended care cycles. Peach feel does not automatically mean moisture-wicking or breathable performance.
