Build an Artwork Inventory
List every team crest, sponsor logo, player name, number and event mark. Record the supplied file type, required color and whether any brand standard limits background or clear space.
Request vector artwork whenever possible. Raster files need sufficient resolution at final print size, and screenshots should not be treated as production masters.
Map Placement Around the Pattern
A flat jersey image does not show every seam, zipper, side panel or collar join. Place each logo on the actual pattern layout and define width, height and distance from a fixed construction point.
Keep critical text and fine marks away from seam allowances and high-distortion zones. If a logo must cross panels, approve alignment expectations and tolerance.
Control Color on Fabric
Screen color does not predict sublimation output. Approve a printed strike-off on the intended fabric and include surrounding background colors because they affect visual contrast.
Specify whether sponsor colors must match a corporate standard or a coordinated team palette. Keep the approved print reference for repeat orders.
Standardize Names and Numbers
Define font, case, outline, height and maximum character count. Use one roster file and check duplicate numbers, spelling and special characters before final approval.
Long names may require a smaller size or controlled curve. Agree the rule in advance so operators do not make inconsistent decisions player by player.
Approve the Complete Jersey
Review a full layout or sample showing front, back, sleeves and side panels. Sign off artwork version, fabric, base color, player data and production quantity under one dated reference.
