Define the Swimwear Program

List each product and its intended use before requesting a quotation. A fashion bikini, performance one-piece, rash guard and men's swim short need different materials and construction. State the target market, size range, coverage, support and expected order quantity.

Provide front, back and side drawings or clear references. For separates, define how tops and bottoms will be sold and whether buyers can mix sizes.

Confirm Fabric and Lining

Record the outer fabric composition, weight, stretch, recovery and surface finish. Discuss the intended exposure to pool water, salt water, sun and sunscreen. Select tests and care instructions that match the final material rather than relying on general swimwear claims.

Lining affects opacity, comfort, support and drying time. State whether the garment is fully lined or lined only in selected panels. Light colors and printed designs should be checked when wet as well as dry.

Control Fit Coverage and Support

Provide measurements for neckline, leg opening, rise, torso length, strap length and coverage as relevant. Test elastic tension around the body. Edges should remain secure without causing excessive pressure or distortion.

For swim tops and one-pieces, specify cup, pad, underband, wire or other support requirements. Review strap adjustment and hardware position during movement.

Approve Trims Branding and Labels

Rings, sliders, clasps, zippers, drawcords and decorative trims should be suitable for the product's expected use. Confirm finish, color and dimensions. Test logo methods on the actual fabric because high stretch and water exposure can affect adhesion and appearance.

Prepare care labels and market-required information before production. Packaging should protect cups, hardware and surface decoration without crushing the garment.

Complete Bulk Approval

Approve the final sample, measurements, fabric, lining, elastic, hardware, artwork and packing method together. Confirm how shade variation and printed pattern placement will be handled. Define inspection points for measurements, stitching, symmetry, cleanliness and packaging.
